HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) -Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) is inviting supporters to help write the school’s next chapter with the 9th annual LovEMU Giving Day.

“It’s a day to show Royal pride,” says Annual Giving and Donor Communication Specialist Nicole Litwiller about the 24-hour fundraiser. “It’s an opportunity to support students, our incredible faculty and staff, our facilities, and just showing the love. If you’re an alumnus, it’s also an opportunity to remember how you were impacted by your time at EMU. It’s a way to give back to make sure that students can continue to experience the life-changing education we offer here.”
Litwiller adds that this year’s event features over $150,000 in matching funds from generous donors, split between full-day and timed challenges.
Today’s family-friendly campus activities wrap up with a community cookout at 5:30pm in the University Commons parking lot.
