ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A man authorities say was responsible for a homicide in Elkton nearly a year ago appeared before a grand jury on June 5.
According to online records, a Page County Circuit Court grand jury indicted Timothy Thomas Comer on seven felony charges, including first-degree murder.
Those charges are in connection with the shooting death of 69-year-old Gregory Lee Williams in the Jollet Road area last June 29th.
He was arrested on July 13th after a two-week manhunt involving local, state and federal authorities.
Comer will be back in court on August 21st for a hearing to appoint counsel.
