HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Eisner nominated and super popular comic book writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson will be coming to The Secret Lair Comic this month.

On June 15, Johnson will be in town for a meet and greet/signing in support of his newest creator owned comic Crocodile Black from Boom Studios. This event is part of the store’s journey to their 10 year anniversary this July!

Phillip Kennedy Johnson is an Eisner nominated comic book writer who is currently working for DC Comics (Green Lantern War Journal), Marvel Comics (Incredible Hulk), and Boom Studios (Crocodile Black). His newest book Crocodile Black is a crime thriller that takes place during the pandemic about a grocery store delivery clerk. His past works have included Alien, Empyre: Captain America, Green Lantern, Fellspyre Chronicles, and his multi-year award nominated Action Comics and Superman run known as the War World Saga. He also serves as a Master Sergeant in the US Army and is a trumpet player in the US Army Field Band. He resides in the Washington DC area with his family.
