HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The first day of early in-person voting for the statewide Special Election is here.

The “yes” or “no” question that appears on the ballot reads:

“Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia’s standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the 2030 census?”

Polls are open weekdays…

In Harrisonburg, 8:30 to 4:30 at City Hall.

In Rockingham County, 8 to 4 at the County Administration Building.

In Staunton, 9 to 5 at City Hall in front of the Council Chambers.

And in Augusta County, 8 to 5 at the Government Center in Verona.

Early voting ends April 18th, before Election Day on April 21st.
