HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Early Katering Company celebrates its one-year anniversary this Wednesday, June 25 since opening their location in Harrisonburg back in May 2024. 

Early Katering began when the owner, Grace Wilmer, was a bride who connected with Kay Early while planning her own wedding. Shortly after, Kay decided to retire and pass the catering business to Grace. 

To show their appreciation for the support given to them in the past year, they are hosting a casual open house at The Terrace at Rocktown on Wednesday, June 25 from 3:30pm-7:00pm. 

Grace says their next chapter is about honoring the foundation Kay built while infusing it with fresh passion, purpose and possibility. 

The open house is completely complementary and open to the public where guests can tour the space, eat complimentary food, and have drinks from the bar. Live music will be provided by Steve Gregory.
