WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – A detour in Waynesboro has been removed.

The city’s Public Works announced today that the Hopeman Parkway Detour that began March 6th has now been removed.
No significant traffic impacts are expected while finishing work is done to remediate the sink hole that made the detour a necessity earlier this month.
City Officials thanked residents on social media for their patience with temporary traffic lights causing delays over the last several weeks.
