BRIDGEWATER, VA (Rocktown Now) — Delegate Chris Runion has announced his candidacy for re-election to the Virginia House of Delegates, seeking to continue representing the 35th District, which includes portions of Augusta, Rockingham, Highland, and Bath counties.

First elected in 2019 and taking office in 2020, Runion has used his legislative tenure to champion pro-agriculture and pro-business policies, supporting veterans, law enforcement, and first responders, and advocating for vulnerable populations within the community.

“I’m running for re-election because our work is not done,” said Delegate Runion. “In a new term in the House of Delegates, my priorities will reflect our shared Valley values. It has been an honor and privilege to serve our community in the House of Delegates for the last six years, and I thank the voters for their support during that time. I am asking for your continued support and your vote.”

Delegate Runion maintains his district office in Weyers Cave, VA, located at 51 Franklin Street. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m
