David Ray Peters, 31, of Fulks Run, Virgina, passed away accidentally on Sunday, May 19, 2024, in Rockingham County.

He was born on November 26, 1992, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and was a son of Daniel Ray and Marsha Lynn Donovan Peters, of Fulks Run.

David was employed in landscaping where he specialized in hardscape projects. As an outdoorsman, he loved many aspects of nature including fishing, camping, hiking and swimming. David will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are David’s wife, Ashley Diane Muterspaugh; three sisters, Morgan Leska, Sara Peters and Rachel Peters; grandparents, Fredrick and Louise Peters and Kathy Akers; seven nieces and nephews, and his dog, Rooster.

He was preceded by a grandfather, Joseph Donovan.

A celebration of life service will take place at later date.
