HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Drivers in the Friendly City are being asked to watch out for a roadwork project that’s now underway in a busy residential area near downtown.

According to Harrisonburg Public Works, workers are performing curb and gutter work along Chestnut Drive between Maryland and Sunrise Avenues.

The city says that the work will require temporary changes to the traffic pattern. Parking will also be limited at times.

Folks are advised to use caution when traveling through that zone as the project continues.

The work is expected to last for about two weeks.
