WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – Crews with the Waynesboro Public Works Department are currently working on a watermain break.

It happened around 10 o’clock Tuesday morning in the 1200 block of North Delphine Avenue.

Officials say temporary water service interruption may affect Faber Avenue and portions of Strawberry Lane, in addition to the affected area of North Delphine Avenue

Crews are on site making repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

Water service will be restored once the repair is complete.

Drivers may want to avoid that area while crews are working.
