Cleo Lee Kingrea, 87, of Elkton, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at her home. She was born May 12, 1937 and was the daughter of the late George Washington Durham and Estelle Lamb Durham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, George Jr., Bradley, Bobby and Ronnie Durham.
Cleo loved to babysit young children for working parents and did this for 14 years. She then worked at St. Mary’s and Henrico Doctors Hospitals in Richmond, Virginia in Outpatient Services for 18 years. She loved her family and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Cleo is survived by her husband, William Percy Kingrea; son, Stephen Kingrea; daughters, Vickie Waldrop and husband, Frank, Deborah Green and husband, David; grandchildren, William D. Kingrea and wife, Kristen, Kyle Waldrop and wife, Sarah, Baileigh Wingard and husband, Joseph, Natalee Caraballo and husband, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Cayden, Reid, Axel, EmberLee Kingrea; Jude and Samuel Caraballo.
A visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene.
A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Joe Stoner and Chaplain [COL] David Green, U.S. Army officiating. Burial to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.
