STAUNTON, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The City of Staunton is developing a housing strategy that will provide a framework comprehensively describing how the city plans to meet its housing objectives.
City officials say the development of the strategy will take place over the next eight months and over that time period, it will analyze data on current and future housing conditions, provide community engagement opportunities with public input sessions as well as identify funding sources, among other things.
There will be at least four meetings for the workgroup. The first of which will be Monday, Sept. 30, at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
