STAUNTON, VA (Rocktown Now) — The City of Staunton has announced schedule changes in observance of Veterans Day on November 11, 2025. 

Residential trash regularly scheduled for pick up on November 11 will be collected on November 12. Downtown Central Business District customers will also receive trash collection November 12, with normal pick up the remaining days of the week. 

The Recycling Center will be closed November 11 and will reopen with regular hours on November 13. 

The Staunton Public Library and the City’s administrative offices will be closed and will return to their normal schedule the next day.
