HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Harrisonburg is ready to help residents with their taxes.
The Commissioner of the Revenue office offers state income tax preparation to all Harrisonburg residents free of charge, according to an official city post online.
Residents must drop off a completed Federal Income Tax Return and all W-2’s and 1099’s or other documents with Virginia withholding taxes at the Commissioner of the Revenue office in City Hall along with a phone number.
The Commissioner of the Revenue office will call when taxes are ready for pick up.
