HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) – Chris Porter invites the community to the unveiling of his first solo exhibition, Derelict Transmissions, at The Golden Pony running from Friday, December 5 to Wednesday, December 31.
According to a release, Chris Porter is an American tattooer and visual artist based in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Exhibition attendees can expect to see traditional American and Japanese tattoo inspired works, original paintings and prints, hand-painted screen prints, album covers, and more.
The public is invited to attend the opening reception on Friday, December 5, 6-8pm, at The Golden Pony located at 181 North Main Street, Harrisonburg, Virginia. Attendees will have a first look at Porter’s exhibition and an opportunity to meet Porter.
Porter’s artwork has appeared in regional exhibitions, as album cover art for the intergalactic punk band Crab Action, as well as the Arts Council of the Valley’s 25th Anniversary Celebration show 5x5x25 in May 2025.
