HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Central Shenandoah Health District is continuing a series of free drop-in testing clinics in Harrisonburg where folks can get checked for sexually transmitted infections.
The district said in a release that following several successful clinics during the spring, the schedule has been extended to include each third Tuesday for the next three months.
These “Test and Go” clinics are set for 4:30 to 6 P-M on June 18th, July 16th, and August 20th at the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Health Department.
Patients can get tested within minutes for common S-T-I’s, like H-I-V, syphilis, and Hepatitis B and C – and anyone who receives a positive test will be contacted for further treatment.
Routine S-T-I testing is always available at the Harrisonburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro Health Departments.
