SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — A call regarding a suspicious individual put a Shenandoah County high school on high alert this morning.

The Woodstock Police Department alerted parents of Central High School students this morning that authorities had received a call citing a suspicious person located near the campus.

The Facebook statement says officers were able to locate the individual in question and determined that there was no reason for concern.

The WPD confirms that the campus is clear, and the school has been restored to normal status.
