FOREST, Va. (BC Athletics) – Taylor Myers of the Bridgewater women’s cross country team has been named the ODAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week.

Myers had an impressive performance on Friday night in her first collegiate 6k race as she notched an 11th place finish at the CNU XC Invitational with a time of 22.49.8. Myers’ time also registered as the 12th fastest 6k time in program history in her first event. Myers completed the race at a 6:07.4 mile pace, the fastest of any runner in the conference this week.

The Eagles are back in action on Sep. 28 at the Hornet harrier Invitational in Winchester, Va.
