BRIDGEWATER, Va. (BC Athletics) – The ODAC Tournament field is set for women’s volleyball and the Eagles have locked up the No. 3 seed heading into the postseason.
Bridgewater will face No. 6 seed Randolph-Macon in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 12 as the Eagles will play host being the higher seed. The Eagles compiled an overall regular season record of 21-6 and a conference record of 10-2. The Yellow Jackets enter the matchup with an overall record of 12-14 and a 7-5 record in ODAC play.
Standing atop the standings as the No. 1 seed is Washington & Lee going unbeaten in conference action with 12 wins including a 29-2 overall record. The Generals enter the postseason ranked 14th in the nation. In the second seed spot is (RV) Virginia Wesleyan as it finished out the season 24-4 overall and 11-1.
The ODAC semifinals round is Thursday, Nov. 14 and the championship will be on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the higher seed’s host institution.
First serve on Tuesday is scheduled for 7 p.m.
