BRIDGEWATER, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The annual Virginia Private College Week is set for July 15-20. and one of the schools participating is Bridgewater College.

Director of Admissions Jarret Smith said on the Mike Schikman Show earlier this week that the week-long event is a great opportunity for prospective students and their families to get a comprehensive view of Bridgewater and other private colleges in Virginia.

“[Attendees can] figure out which school might be the right fit for them,” Smith said. “And with Bridgewater specifically, giving them the opportunity to see the connections that Bridgewater has can make an impact on their lives to their educational journey.”

The sessions on Monday through Friday will be held at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and will include campus tours as well as overviews of academics, student life, admissions processes and financial aid. An additional morning session will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 20.
