BRIDGEWATER, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – It is graduation weekend in the area. Bridgewater College is set to hold Commencement exercises for the Class of 2024 on Saturday morning, May 4 on the Campus Mall.

Executive Vice President Dr. Leona Sevick said on the Mike Schikman Show on WSVA this week that 285 undergraduate students and 35 graduate students expected to receive diplomas.

Also, Eastern Mennonite University will hold its 105th graduation ceremony on Sunday afternoon, beginning at one on the campus lawn.

Nearly 350 total degrees will be awarded.
