ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate Thursday morning’s fatal construction accident on Switchboard Road.

The incident happened at around 11 a.m. Sheriff Bryan Hutcheson did not release details of what exactly happened only to say the investigation is ongoing, but it appears to be accidental in nature.

He added that 58-year-old Curtis Wayne Shuey of Verona was taken to Sentara RMH where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
