FISHERSVILLE, VA (Rocktown Now) — A beloved coach will be honored tonight in Fishersville.

Wilson Memorial High School students, faculty, and the community plan to honor the memory of Coach Rodney Cullen at tonight’s home basketball game against the Maggie L. Walker Dragons.

Cullen passed away last Saturday.

Wilson Memorial has announced that they will donate 100-percent of the gate proceeds from tonight’s game to the National Veteran Wheelchair Games, an organization Coach Cullen regularly supported each year in the summer.

A respected educator and mentor, Cullen coached basketball and baseball at Wilson for nine years and led the school to a state baseball title and several district titles.
