FOREST, Va. (BC Athletics) – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) announced senior Emily Smeds as ODAC Runner of the Week Tuesday afternoon.

Smeds won the Hornet Harrier Invitational at Kernstown Battlefield in Winchester, Va., on Saturday, Sept. 28. In the women’s 6k race, Smeds topped the leaderboard with a time of 24:10.1. In the event, Bridgewater placed 1,2,3 totaling 28 points on the day.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the Paul Short Run Invitational in Bethlehem, Pa., with a start time of 1 p.m.
