Barbara Ann Meadows, 70, of Elkton, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at her home. She was born July 22, 1953 in Virginia and was the daughter of the late Hobert W. Hensley and Dorothy Louise Shifflett.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Everette Meadows; brothers, Rondel Hensley and Terry Hensley; sisters, Rhonda Gentry and Mary Ellen Hensley.

 

Barbara worked for JMU where she retired as a supervisor for mail services. She was a member of the Church of Solsburg. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by her sons, Kevin Meadows and wife, Bonnie, Chris Meadows; sister, Angela Merica and husband, Jeff; grandchildren, Shyleigh Good; step-grandchildren, Brandon and Kurtis Trent and numerous step-great-grandchildren.
