FISHERSVILLE, VA (Rocktown Now) — Augusta Health has reached a new agreement with Cigna to maintain in-network access for patients.
The partnership between the two organizations will continue without interruption, and Cigna-insured patients will remain in-network at all Augusta Health facilities and physician practices.
In a release, officials say Augusta Health and Cigna have agreed on reimbursement rates that more accurately reflect the cost of delivering care. Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Augusta Health Joe Meador says this agreement ensures continuity of care for patients and reinforces their ability to provide high-quality healthcare close to home.
