AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The woman accused of kidnapping her three children from an apartment complex in Fishersville last month has been extradited back to Augusta County.

Shanice Chante Davison was transported from Birmingham, Alabama, to Middle River Regional Jail on Monday where she was officially charged with abduction and kidnapping.

The 35-year-old Davison was denied bond during a hearing Thursday afternoon.

She is accused of taking her three children while they were waiting at the bus stop at the Bobby’s Way Apartment complex during the morning of December 5th.

She was eventually apprehended later that day near Birmingham and all three children were safe and unharmed.

Her next hearing is set for February 12th in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.
