WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — Residents of Staunton, Augusta, and Waynesboro are invited to bring household hazardous waste materials to the City of Waynesboro facilities shop at 900 Essex Avenue, Waynesboro, 22980 on Saturday, September 20th from 8:30 a.m. until noon, for annual Household Hazardous Waste Day. 

According to an online post, products that will be accepted include CFL & fluorescent bulbs, Gasoline, Oil-based paints & stains, Herbicides, Pesticides and Propane tanks. 

Products that will not be accepted include unknown or unlabeled containers, medications and electronics.
