AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office announced on social media that Durron Ashton Harris, 21, of Charlottesville, has been arrested in connection with the multiple vehicle break-ins that occurred in the Teaverton subdivision in the Fishersville area.
On August 19, 2025, the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office notified the community of the multiple vehicle break-ins reported. A joint investigation was initiated by the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office in partnership with the Staunton Police Department.
As a result of that investigation, Harris has been charged with following:
- 18.2-192- Felony Credit Card Larceny
- 5 Counts of 18.2-96- Petit Larceny
- 8 Counts of 18.2-147- Entering or setting in motion a vehicle with the intent to commit a crime, malicious mischief, or injury thereto.
Harris is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail without bond.
