AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) – A local Emergency Medical Services provider has received the Augusta County Administrator’s “Award of Excellence.”

Peter Fox of Augusta County Fire and Rescue was recently presented the award by County Administrator Tim Fitzgerald for his dedication to going above and beyond in service to both his team and the community.

Fox has improved rescue operations and data-driven decision making across the department through data analysis and recovery, troubleshooting systems, and by developing detailed and customizable incident heat mapping.

According to the department’s announcement, Fox’s “commitment to excellence, his peers, and the citizens of Augusta County truly embodies the standard of service (Fire and Rescue) strives for every day.”
