AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Augusta County officials has announced that many area Fire and Rescue stations will be receiving upgraded LifePak 35 monitors.

The state-of-the-art defibrillators enhance patient care and efficiency in the field by offering improved electrocardiogram interpretation for cardiac care and greater durability for demanding emergency environments.

The ACFR Training Division has been providing personnel with hands-on training at each station set to receive the new LifePak 35 monitors.

Authorities say the upgrade is another example of the county’s commitment to equipping teams with the best resources to serve the community.
