AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Fire and Rescue crews responded to a car crash in Augusta County with an occupant still trapped inside.
Yesterday afternoon at around 2:15, Augusta County Emergency Communications Center dispatched multiple units to a vehicle collision in Waynesboro, according to an online statement.
When Dooms Volunteer Fire Department arrived on the scene at the intersection of Old White Bridge Road and Hermitage Road, they found a two-vehicle accident with one occupant still trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Augusta County Fire and Rescue crews used extrication tools to remove the B post and side doors to free the occupant from the car and administer care.
