ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The attorney for the former Rockingham County resident, who was arrested last weekend on assault charges in Virginia Beach, is speaking out.
Tim Anderson stated on his social media page that he is more than disappointed by some of the posts circulating about the charges against Cole Trower.
The 33-year-old Trower was charged with four counts, including three for assault and battery, in connection with an incident on February 8, 2026.
Anderson argued that Cole was attacked inside his own home by two men from New York and he acted in self-defense.
Trower has a preliminary hearing on May 7, 2026, in Virginia Beach General District Court,
Incidentally, he pleaded guilty to an assault charge following an incident on Arrowwood Drive in Harrisonburg back on October 31 of 2014.
