HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Arts Council of the Valley is now accepting Spring grant cycle applications for arts-related proposals that would benefit the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community.
Grants are awarded to artists and art educators each year, ranging from $500 to $1,500.
The Arts Council of the Valley says “Advancing the Arts” grants invest in the vital arts infrastructure of the community and are intended to support projects that cultivate the arts, create experiences, and connect communities.
Submitted proposals for both “Arts for Education” and “Creative Inspiration” grant categories are due in early March.
Selected projects are scheduled to take place between Apr 1st and Oct 31st of this year.
Visit ValleyArts.org for grant guidelines and application materials.
