AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — UPDATE (8/29/25 10am) — ACSO has safely located Bartholomew Bankert.

The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance with locating a missing person who was last heard from yesterday by telephone and was reported missing this morning by a family member.

58-year-old Bartholomew Roach Bankert is a white male who is 5’6″ in height. He is bald with green eyes and his whereabouts are unknown.
