FISHERSVILLE, VA (Rocktown Now) — First responders rescued a driver trapped in their vehicle following a crash in Augusta County.

According to Augusta County Fire and Rescue, units were dispatched to the intersection of Jefferson Highway and Woodrow Wilson Avenue in Fishersville at around 8 o’clock Friday night for reports of a car collision and subsequent driver entrapment.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, they found a passenger vehicle on its side with the driver pinned inside.

Multiple units joined efforts to stabilize the vehicle and free the driver who suffered only minor injuries in the incident.
