AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 19-year-old for an alleged stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning.

Deputies say they responded to the 1300 block of Christians Creek Road for a domestic disturbance at approximately 3:49 a.m. on Saturday, August 2. While in route to the call, deputies were notified that a male had been stabbed multiple times. Deputies arrived on scene at 3:59 a.m. and located the male victim who was determined to be a juvenile with multiple stab wounds in the torso and back areas and began providing medical aid. Stuarts Draft Rescue and Augusta County Fire and Rescue responded to the scene. Stuarts Draft Rescue transported the juvenile victim to Augusta Health with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect was identified as 19-year-old Nickolas Alexander Yale from Stuarts Draft, who was arrested at the scene.

Yale was charged with Felonious Assault and is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail without bond.

Sheriff Donald Smith says this was an isolated incident between the two acquaintances and the suspect was immediately taken into custody.
