WAYNESBORO, Va. – A Waynesboro man is facing felony charges after a home search revealed large amounts of contraband.

In a release, Waynesboro Police said a search warrant was executed yesterday at a home on Florence Avenue.

Detectives arrested 33-year-old Eric Daniel Hughes when the raid exposed several containers of controlled substances and a firearm.

Hughes is charged with selling, giving or distributing methamphetamine, and possessing a controlled substance along with a firearm. Both are felony counts.

He was released on a $2,500 bond.
