Harrisonburg city officials say that a water line break in western Rockingham County that left residents in the area high and dry last night has been repaired.

In a social media notice posted around 9:15 last night, the city said that crews were on scene to address that break in the 4-thousand block of Rawley Pike. We’ve just learned that crews restored water service at around 2:30 this morning.

Officials say that anyone in the area experiencing dirty or cloudy water should let the water run until it becomes clear.

They say this is normal after a water break occurs.
