TOMS BROOK, Va –Â Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash involving a school bus that happened Monday afternoon in Shenandoah County.
Sergeant Brent Coffey reported the accident occurred at around 3:45.
A Ford F-150 was traveling south on Route 11 near Locust Grove Road north of Toms Brook when it rear-ended a Shenandoah County Public Schools bus, which was stopped for a northbound school bus that was unloading children.
There were 51 children on the bus at the time and four of them suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Ford, 60-year-old Gregory Yew of Woodstock, also suffered minor injuries in the crash and was treated on scene.
He was charged with reckless driving.
