Valley Health has announced a unique partnership with three non-profit West Virginia health systems to offer provider-led health insurance services through an entity known as Peak Health.

Peak Health currently serves as benefit administrator for around 32-thousand West Virginia University Health System employees and anticipates serving up to eight thousand Valley Health employees on January 1st of next year.

Mark Nantz, president and C-E-O of Valley Health, stated in a news release that joining Peak Health is a wonderful opportunity for the two health systems to collaborate and improve the health outcomes of folks in the Northern Shenandoah Valley and Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

Winchester-based Valley Health operates six hospitals, including Shenandoah Memorial in Woodstock.
