WEYERS CAVE, Va – Weyers Cave Road in Augusta County will be closed to thru-traffic this weekend while crews repair railroad crossings.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, Route 256 between Keezletown Road and Wayside Drive will be inaccessible from Friday at 6 pm through 5 pm on Monday.
V-DOT says this is about one mile east of the I-81 interchange.
Railroad repairs will also impact traffic on Woodrow Wilson Parkway in Staunton on Sunday, where work is scheduled from 6-to-6 at the Commerce Road intersection. Turn lanes near the site will be closed.
Officials say to follow posted detours around both closures.
