STRASBURG, Va (WSVA) – The case of the Strasburg man charged in connection with the nearly 10-year-old death of a man whose body was found in Pennsylvania continues to move through the courts.

According to online records, a judge set a pre-trial date of March 13th for James Edgar Callahan during a hearing Wednesday morning in Shenandoah County Circuit Court.

The 48-year-old Callahan faces three felony charges, including first degree murder and concealing a dead body.

He was arrested last September 26th during a traffic stop in Front Royal after skeletal remains were found in Pennsylvania by a hiker in May of 2014.

Through D-N-A sequencing, those remains were identified as those of Michael Allen Holober, who was 45 at the time of his death and a resident of Strasburg.
