UNDATED – Virginia State Police continues to investigate a fatal single-vehicle crash that happened last week in Page County.

The crash occurred last Friday at 4:04 p.m. on U-S Highway 211, approximately a mile west of the intersection with U-S Highway 340.

Sergeant Brent Coffey reported that a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle was traveling east on Route 211 when it failed to maneuver a curve, ran off the left side of the roadway, and collided with a concrete barrier.

The rider of the motorcycle, 21-year-old Cameron Weaver of Lebanon, died at the scene of the crash due to his injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
