RICHMOND, VA – One state lawmaker is not ready to concede defeat.

Chesterfield State Senator Amanda Chase appears to have lost Tuesday’s Republican primary in the 12th District to Glen Sturtevant by over 300 votes.

Chase said yesterday, though, that she is seeking legal counsel to address concerns she has about early absentee ballots.

She says about 350 votes were cast illegally because the voters used computers that did not comply with state law.
