The owner of a prominent skating rink in Winchester has been arrested on child porn charges.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says Edgar Jackson was detained Friday afternoon during a traffic stop at the I-81 interchange on Martinsburg Pike. As the owner of Winchester Skating and Family Fun Center, Jackson had been under investigation after several former female employees, now adults, accused their former boss of taking indecent liberties with them while they were still juveniles.

Following a search of the business, investigators say evidence of child pornography was found, and deputies were placed on the lookout for Jackson – ultimately leading to his arrest.

 

He is currently held without bond.
