HARRISONBURG, Va – Traffic on the eastern end of Harrisonburg will see occasional delays in May as city workers install a new sidewalk.

Brittany Clem-Hott, Communication Specialist for the Public Works Department, explains that the sidewalk installation work will be taking place on Vine Street between East Washington Street and Emerson Lane beginning today.

Traffic controls will be set up with occasional lane shifts but the road will remain open to through traffic during the installation. The public is reminded to proceed with care when maneuvering around the safety work zone.
