HARRISONBURG, Va – The Harrisonburg man convicted of breaking into a local bagel shop nearly two years ago has learned his fate.
During a hearing Monday afternoon, Dakota Lynn Shull was sentenced to 10 years in prison for using a tire iron to break into Mr. J’s Bagels and Deli on South High Street during the early morning hours of November 16th, 2021.
However according to online records, a Rockingham County Circuit Court judge suspended six of those years.
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old Shull was also convicted earlier this year of several other charges in separate incidents, including destruction of property and assault and battery of a family.
He will spend an extra six months incarcerated on those charges.
