HARRISONBURG, Va – The man accused of shooting into a vehicle last weekend in Harrisonburg was supposed to have first court appearance Thursday afternoon.

However, online court records showed that the hearing for Timothy Leach of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was continued until September 21st in General District Court.

The 43-year-old Leach is charged with three felony counts, including malicious wounding, after he allegedly fired multiple shots into a vehicle at the intersection of East Market Street and Linda Lane at around 10:45 pm Sunday.

The victim, another 43-year-old man, was flown to U-V-A Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition at last check.

Leach remains in custody.
