WOODSTOCK, Va. – The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office says they’re aware of a string of vehicle break-ins in the northern end of the county.
In a release yesterday, Sheriff Tim Carter said his office has received “multiple” reports of burglarized vehicles, all of which were unoccupied. He added that these break-ins occurred in both public and private settings.
Carter says to prevent future damage, folks should park in well-lit areas and, if possible, close to a building entrance. He reminds residents to make a habit of locking their vehicles upon exit, and to remove any valuable or sensitive items.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office.
